LOS ANGELES, CALIF. --

The famous zip code that brought us the kids from West Beverly Hills High School – “90210” — is about to introduce us to a new class and the “Peach Pit” is coming back, too. L.A.’s Kokomo Cafe is front and center of the new class’s hangout as the design and location of the cafe has been selected as the setting of the “Peach Pit” for The CW’s new “90210.”

With production in full swing on The CW’s new “90210,” countless locations were scouted all over Los Angeles to be considered as the location for the new “Peach Pit,” the well known diner frequented by the characters in the original series. The production will shoot several more scenes at the location until their replica set is completed.

After 20 years of being in business at L.A.’s Farmers Market, Kokomo Cafe has recently relocated to the former Eat Well location at 7385 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles.

In celebration of Kokomo Cafe serving as the new Peach Pit, Kokomo is adding a few select items inspired by “90210” during the month of September. In conjunction with the show’s premiere, Kokomo Cafe will offer patrons complimentary items from its “90210” menu on Sept. 2 between the hours of 2 and 4 PM.

The restaurant has shared its special menu items exclusively with Access Hollywood: Nat Your Average Smoothie, named in honor of Nat Bussichio, the character who owned the Peach Pit in the original and new “90210,” is a peachy creamy ice-cold beverage while Leggo My Eggold, named in honor of Ryan Eggold, who plays Ryan Matthews – the hot teacher at West Beverly, is a fluffy Belgium waffle served with two eggs and bacon.

Also on the menu, The Mr. Wilson Burger, named for Harry Wilson, played by Rob Estes, who moves his family from Kansas to Beverly Hills to become principal of West Beverly. This is a double patty burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Rounding out the menu, The 90210 Breakfast, is simply a bottle of Dom Perignon served with fresh strawberries and cream. The item is yours with 24 hour advance notice and $250.

The new “90210” premieres on the CW network Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 8 PM ET. More information on the restaurant and its menu can be found at www.kokomo.com.
