NEW YORK, New York --

Just days after giving birth to twins, Jennifer Lopez is now back home with her new babies, according to The New York Post.

J.Lo was released from Long Island’s North Shore University Hospital on Monday, her obstetrician reportedly told The Post.

The 38-year-old songstress gave birth to the twins (a 5-pound, 7-ounce girl and 6 pound boy) early Friday morning. The babies were born 11 minutes apart.

While husband Marc Anthony has three kids from previous relationships, these are the first kids for Jennifer.

The names of the children have yet to be released.

Meanwhile, a close friend of the couple told People that J.Lo has settled into her new role as a mom.

“[She] sounds very peaceful and happy and blissful,” longtime friend Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas told People about Jen. 'She said, ‘I can’t take my eyes off of them.'”

J.Lo and Marc tied the knot in June 2004.
