LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Matthew McConaughey is going to be a dad.

The “We Are Marshall” star hit his personal Web site, to blog about the news.

“My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together,” he wrote. “It’s 3 months grown in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far.”

Reports that the 38-year-old actor was dating 22 year-old Brazilian model Camila Alves began this past summer.

In 2005, McConaughey took a seat on Oprah’s couch, where the TV talk show queen asked him whether he saw children in his future.

“I've always dreamed of having children,” he told Oprah. “I go between [wanting] 14 and two. But I do believe my mate will have something to say about that."

In related news, McConaughey will next appear on the big screen alongside Kate Hudson in "Fools Gold," which is due for release on February 8th.
