Nicole Richie Says Baby Harlow Is 'Doing Great'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

It appears parenthood has been a joy for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

While stepping out at the opening for the Eli Broad Los Angeles Contemporary Art Museum (LACMA) on Saturday night, Nicole told Us Magazine of her one-month-old daughter, "She's doing great! Really great!"

Nicole appeared slim and well rested wearing a pale dress. Joel, decked out in a tuxedo and sneakers, echoed Nicole's sentiments, saying, "Yeah, she's good!"

After getting a dose of museum culture the couple headed to Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, but they made it a short night.

"We have to get home!" Madden was reportedly overheard telling a friend at 11:40 p.m. "She [Harlow] only sleeps three hours at a time. She's with Grandma now, but if she wakes up…"

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born last January.
