HBO Wants More ‘Sex’ & Some Big Screen Bada Bing: Still longing for more time with Carrie and the girls? Maybe a little trip across the bridge and through the tunnel for quality time with Tony and the guys? If so, your TV-to-big screen wish just might come true, according to HBO execs, TV Squad reports. While schmoozing reporters at the annual TCA Press Tour, top HBO execs said they want to do another “Sex and The City” movie and a “Sopranos” big screen treatment. “Everyone associated with [‘Sex and The City’] was really heartened by the fans and by the new fans to the show,” HBO’s Richard Plepler told reporters. And as for Tony Soprano getting his movie debut? “If David [Chase] wants to do it, we’d be delighted to explore that,” HBO Co-president, Michael Lombardo added. Consider us there!
Tom Sends Nicole Quite The Baby Haul: Squelching any notion that celeb exes don’t get along, Tom Cruise sent new mom, Nicole Kidman, a room full of flowers and a lavish spread of baby gifts, People reports. The gifts included chenille Giraffe baby blankets and essentials from the Hermes baby line. Because there is nothing more absorbent for baby barf than Hermes.
Jackie Chan - The Museum: In what is sure to send shockwaves through museumgoer communities around the world, ground has been broken for a museum honoring action star Jackie Chan in Shanghai, China, according to the actor’s Web site. We can only assume the “Rush Hour 3” exhibit will be riveting!
Anna Kournikova And The Letter “B”: Former tennis star Anna Kournikova, who hasn’t played a match in five years, but is still dating Enrique Iglesias, sounded off to Sports Illustrated about the persistent rumors that plague her. “I’m not married, not pregnant, didn’t have a boob job, no Botox. What else?” the tennis player told the mag. To sum up, not a bride, no baby or boob job and no Botox. Next week, Anna will address rumors that start with the letter “C.”
