AROUND THE WORLD --

Life is great if you’re a star, or at least it was yesterday.

Meanwhile, across town, Nicole Richie, who just got back from life on the road with boyfriend Joel Madden and his band Good Charlotte, visited a salon for a little pampering. Richie appeared to have a manicure while pulling a Paris and appearing deep in conversation on her cell phone.

There have been shots floating around of former “The OC” star Mischa Barton smoking a rolled up cigarette. She went one step further last night, turning up at a Hollywood head shop, which sells bongs.

A little less preoccupied with her purse contents was Britney Spears who was captured bounding across a Hollywood street yesterday. The pop-tart-in-the-remaking sported this bountiful grin as she exited a building and jumped in her convertible Mini. While we have no more information about what she was doing in town, we can confirm Ms. Spears then motored off to her Hollywood Hills abode shortly after this snap was taken

FRANCE – Half way across the world, Angelina Jolie looked luminous as she left movie promoting duties and settled back into the role of mommy. Ms. Jolie took littlest son Pax and old brother Maddox to meet some marine wild life. The usually reserved Pax, who has appeared in shocked expressions during recent outings with Papa Pitt, seemed to open up, even reaching his tiny little arm above the open mouth of a killer whale.
