LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Despite initial reactions to Heidi Montag's debut single like, "Makes me feel uncontrollably ill," "beyond pathetic," and "the crappiest video I have ever seen," flooding the internet, Spencer Pratt continues to sing the praises of his girlfriend's upcoming album — he's even gone so far as to suggest it will be better than the music of Madonna and Britney Spears.
"When people hear what we have in the bank, it's gonna blow their minds," Heidi's manager-boyfriend gushed to People. "Madonna, eat your heart out. Britney Spears, eat your heart out. I would say we have diamond records coming – they're gonna sell 10 million-plus."
Spencer was responsible for directing Heidi's debut video "Higher," which he shot on the beach with one camera. The video inspired over 6,000 readers to comment on People.com.
However, Pratt will reportedly hand over the directing reigns for Heidi's next video to Paul "Coy" Allen, who has worked with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Nelly Furtado, on their "Give it to Me" collaboration. But if you’re a fan of Spencer's directing abilities, fear not! Spencer tells People he will direct and release an alternate version of the video.
Spencer hints that the Heidi heat wave is only beginning, saying, "We're financing [the album] ourselves on a shoestring budget. It's so organic. And this is just the warm-up. We're just heating up the water in the bathtub. It's gonna get hot!"
