Fans of the original ‘80s version of “V” best tune into the season finale of ABC’s reboot of the show next Tuesday. Original cast members Jane Badler (pictured, left to right; Morena Baccarin, Laura Vandervoort and Badler) and Marc Singer will both appear on the explosive season closer, titled “Mother’s Day.”

Badler was a fan favorite addition to the current cast this season as the dethroned alien Visitor Queen Diana. She previously played an alien villainess with the same name in the original, while Singer played good human to her evil lizard as Mike Donovan, a leader of the human resistance force.

“There’s quite a monumental ending. And I think a lot of twists,” Badler revealed to Access Hollywood about the upcoming season ender.

“Crazy stuff, really crazy stuff. Huge ending. There’s death. Unexpected people dying,” she teased.

Making his return to the “V” universe, Marc Singer this time out plays Lars Tremont, a member of an international top-secret organization that is suspicious of the Visitors evil intentions.

The reunion of the two former cast mates and iconic on screen archenemies came as a complete surprise to almost everyone on the production.

“What a surprise because nobody knew. No one. Obviously the producers knew. But they keep everything a total secret from the cast,” Badler said.

“I think maybe a couple of days before, we all got one of those producer memos to say he would be arriving on the set and playing one of the characters. And that was the last episode,” she recalled.

“I didn’t even know if I was gonna get to meet him, but I walked into the dressing room and he was getting his make up done. I was like ‘Aahhhh!!!’” she laughed, regarding their backstage reunion.

“I don’t think I had seen him in 20 years. It was pretty crazy seeing him again. I was like, ‘Wow, pretty bizarre.’ He looks amazing.”

Jane revealed that they share no scenes together in the show, but pointed out that was typical in the previous version as well.

“I didn’t work with Marc a lot during (original) the show because once again, there was a separation between the bad lizard and the freedom fighter. I don’t think we had hardly any scenes together. If you look at the show we might have had a few scenes together that was it,” she said.

“I think people are going to be very excited. It gets better and better and great special effects. They really put it all in there,” she concluded.

“V’s” second season finale airs March 15 on ABC at 9 PM.
