Roger Ebert says he was “probably too quick to tweet” when he posted on Twitter about “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn, who died in a fiery car crash.
Ebert tweeted that “friends don’t let jackasses drink and drive.” The message prompted a landslide of posts on Ebert’s Facebook page. The Pulitzer Prize-winning Chicago movie critic posted a message from Facebook early Tuesday saying his page was removed for violating Terms of Use.

Spokeswoman Tracey Jordan told The Associated Press Tuesday that Aretha Franklin has not missed any gigs despite the misstep following a private performance in Dallas.

Authorities say David Beckham was behind the wheel of a car that rear-ended another vehicle on a Southern California freeway.
The California Highway Patrol said Saturday the football great was not hurt in Friday morning’s crash, but the other car’s driver was hospitalized after complaining of neck pain.

David Arquette was involved in a frightening head-on collision earlier this month and the “Scream 4” star is now saying that he learned valuable lessons from the dangerous wreck.
“It was shocking,” David told Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos of the accident at the “Scream 4” junket in LA on Wednesday. “I’m still sort of in pain. I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt, which is just a big knucklehead move, and the airbag deployed and I banged my head on the thing.”
