Alec Baldwin appears to be taking a step back from a Tweet on Wednesday, which suggested the actor was leaving “30 Rock.”
“As far as I know, 30 Rock is back next year. But all things must pass. New shows. New people,” he wrote on Thursday night on his Twitter account.
“[B]ut aren’t you infinitely curious about the kinds of things Tina [Fey] will do when the show is over? I know I am,” Alec continued. “I think Tina will write, produce, act in and direct some great films… People need new things, creatively… sometimes, they need to do nothing at all.”
Previously, Alec created a stir over his “30 Rock” future on Wednesday when he Tweeted, “I think I’m leaving NBC just in time.”
His Tweet came just after the actor took aim on Twitter at “Today” for filming a segment outside his New York City abode about a Canadian actress who was arraigned on aggravated harassment and charges of stalking the actor.
“A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the Today Show?” he wrote, also mentioning in his Tweets “the tabloid press,” and “the Post,” other outlets he claimed were outside his home, covering the same story.
