Is. Alicia and her hugs are proud parents of this gorgeous little guy bear. She has a new book the kind mama where she shares some of what she has learned about being a good mom. Welcome how are you? Good thank you. How good is the book. I have worked so hard on it so excite to go finally have it be out there. You really have worked hard on it. There's stuff in here the research goes so deep. You are quoting, you know, 2008 reports from the united nations on -- you really got deep. How long did it take you. Sivb doing the book for about 4 years. I was thinking about it in labor and but really working very hard on it for like 2 and a half, 3 years. But it was important to me. I saw that there was so much support from the medical and experts in the field and all the research I poured through I knew there was support for other way, the other way I was inspired by and friends of mine having the blissful, beautiful births and pregnancy and motherhood that were much very different in contrast to what we have all come to accept is as Normal. Women having a terrible time with fertility and really difficult delivery and really awful pregnancy and so it's really exciting to know there's so much medical support for this other way. That can give you a blissful experience. Everything in there is the other wait a minute most pregnancy books out there the medical or what is going to happen and something in there for dads. Tell us about the kind papa. What advice did you give to dads out there. I love being able to have women just hand their book over to the guy and say this is for gentlemen only just say read. So the guy has these short little parts that are for them to read. It takes them through how to get themselves into the best fateing shape to make a baby. Get the swimmer real strong. How do you do that. Do you do any of this Billy. No. You do write in there about the pa pachlt your husband actually writes in the book. He does. Get into the tub with you and he would sometimes meditate in the room and try to create good energy. My wife would probably throw a shoe at me if I was walking around in the room or if I got in the tub with her. That would be real trouble. By he was very much a part of this. He was. And his story of how he dealt witness all is very funny in the book and he writes really funny and says sort of what went down for him and how scared he was. I'm sure. Yes. But I just love that men can be so involved. He's such a good daddy and so -- I talk about it in the book how men can really take this time. Take vacation with their baby and fall in love. It's a great love. Was there one, give me a minute of pain. It was at home. Delivery home room. But I just didn't really want him there. Okay good. Get away from me. What room of the house were you in. All rooms. I was downstairs upstairs everywhere. Birthing tub and then things change and didn't go quite as plan but the juicy story is in the book. It never goes as planned. Everybody knows that. We'll try to get it out of you. Sit tight birthing tip for dad to be and go to fountain of youth sticker. I don't know what it is. Exactly the same all the time. More coming up with Alicia silver stone
