LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- “American Idol” said good-bye to one of its strongest rock singers from Season 11 on Thursday night.

(SPOILER: This story contains the elimination result of “Idol.”)

“Weird. This is weird,” remarked Elise Testone, after she learned that she was going home.

The 28-year-old won’t be out of “Idol’s” embrace any time soon. She’s going on the “American Idol” tour this summer.

Now, just five singers remain in the competition – Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez, Skylar Laine and Hollie Cavanagh.

The Bottom 3 on Thursday included Elise, Hollie and Skylar. Hollie and Elise made up the Bottom 2.

“American Idol” returns next Wednesday on FOX.
