Nigel Lythgoe: All Three ‘Idol’ Judges Returning

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Season 11 of “American Idol” will have three familiar faces at the judges’ table.

“American Idol” producer Nigel Lythgoe announced on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Wednesday morning that Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson – along with host Ryan Seascrest – would return next season.

“I believe we’re still waiting for the official announcements but I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of ‘American Idol’ is back for the next season,” Nigel said.

According to Ryan, J.Lo, Steven and Randy will be facing “Idol” hopefuls shortly.

“Auditions with all three start in a couple wks,” Ryan Tweeted on Wednesday.

“American Idol” Season 11 will premiere on FOX in January 2012.
