LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Amy Adams played a princess looking for Prince Charming in Disney’s “Enchanted,” and it appears the fairytale continues for her in real life.

The Oscar-nominated actress is engaged to her boyfriend of six years, fellow actor Darren Legallo, USA Today reports.

Darren reportedly presented Amy with a diamond ring by Jean Dousset of Beverly Hills when he popped the question.

“It’s really important to have someone to remind you who you are,” Amy told USA Today in March of Darren. “I’ll run all over but come back to him, and I know who I am.”

The couple plans to wed in 2009.
