LONDON, England --
British singer Amy Winehouse was admitted to the emergency room at a London hospital, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to the hospital. Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow,” a rep for Winehouse told Access Hollywood.
According to the Associated Press, an ambulance took Winehouse from her home in north London to University College Hospital.
Britain’s Sky News reported the singer was taken to the “accident and emergency unit.”
