LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Britney Spears isn’t the only celebrity to spend time at UCLA’s Medical Center psych ward this week.
According to a report on TMZ.com, Justin Chambers, who plays the high-libidoed Dr. Alex Karev, checked himself in to the hospital earlier this week.
TMZ reports that the actor's rep confirmed to them that the father of five, checked in on Monday and checked out yesterday.
Chambers reportedly was “exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder and went in voluntarily to get some help,” the rep said.
“Justin Chambers voluntarily checked himself into UCLA Medical Center to get help with a pre-existing sleeping disorder on Monday, January 28th and checked out Wednesday, January 30th. He asks that that the press respect his privacy and that of his family at this time," Chambers' rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
