LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Angelina Jolie is about to take deadly fashion to a whole new level.
Angelina is in talks to play the femme fatale role in director Ridley Scott’s “Gucci,” a big screen drama about murder and greed in the famed Gucci fashion dynasty, according to Variety.
The actress would play Patrizia Reggiano, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, who was sentenced to 29 years in prison for plotting to murder the fashion guru.
Scott has reportedly approached Leonardo DiCaprio to step into the role of Gucci, however, there reportedly has been no firm commitment from Leo yet.
Earlier this month, it was announced Angelina was replacing Charlize Theron in “The Tourist,” after Charlize backed out for an unspecified reason.
Angelina will next be seen on the big screen in the spy thriller “Salt,” which hits theaters in July 2010.
