Anne Hathaway Gets Love From Her ‘Jersey Shore’ Twin

Anne, who currently stars in “One Day,” recently admitted to Interview magazine that she was addicted to watching the first season of “Jersey Shore,” and developed a fondness for a certain poofy-haired, furry boots-wearing GTL-er.
“When I first saw the show, I thought, Wow, they are having a very different experience there than my experience in Cape May,” Anne, a New Jersey native, told the mag in an interview for their September issue of watching the raucous “Shore” bunch. “I thought the first season of the show was awesome because it was authentic, but I don’t watch it anymore because now they know that there’s a camera there.”
While she no longer tunes in, Anne revealed she still finds herself inexplicably drawn to the show’s pint-sized Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
“I like to watch MTV for escapist pleasure, but when I saw Snooki, I saw my twin,” she jokingly told the mag. “I couldn’t lose myself in the show anymore because there I was.”
Fortunately, Anne’s adoration for Snooki seems to be mutual.
“Anne Hathway, I love you,” Snooki Tweeted on Saturday.
