Another ‘Star’ Makes Tearful ‘Dancing’ Exit

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Another star bid a tearful goodbye to the “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t Pamela Anderson.

Despite several weeks in the bottom two over the season, the blonde bombshell managed to survive the cut with her partner, Australian professional dancer Damian Whitewood.

Instead, it was the “Bachelor,” Jake Pavelka, who got booted.

“This is, I think, the best season of ‘Dancing with [the] Stars’ I’ve ever seen. I was so honored to be here,” Jake said after learning the news he would not be continuing in the competition. “I enjoyed every second of this.”

The reality romance star went on to thank his home state of Texas, as well as all the support he received over the season from fans near and far.

“Thank you for keeping me here for six episodes,” he said. “I can’t even put into words how much I’ve enjoyed this.

“This is a lot harder than I thought it was gonna be to say goodbye,” Jake continued as he began to get choked up. “I consider the judges, the cast, the crew, all of the viewers — family.”

The tears came, however, when co-host Brooke Burke asked Jake what he wanted to say to his professional dance partner, Chelsie Hightower.

“Thank you so much Chelsie, you’re one of my best friends,” he said, pausing as tears welled up in his eyes. “I have loved every second of this. I love you. Thank you for being so great to my beautiful fiancee, Vienna. Thank you everybody for watching and keeping me in. Thank you so much.”

While Jake was sent home, Niecy Nash and partner Louis van Amstel, who were also in the bottom two, were given a warning that they need to improve from judge Len Goodman.

“If you wanna shine, you’ve gotta polish,” he said. “So polish up those dances.”
