Ashlee Engaged?: Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, from the band Fall Out Boy, just might be engaged, according to a report by Page Six. The singer was spotted wearing a possible engagement ring on her left ring finger over the holiday at the Shore Club in Miami.
Kim Kardashian Not Engaged To Reggie Bush: Despite earlier reports, that Kim Kardashian was engaged to Reggie Bush, it appears news of a new celeb couple is false. Kim’s camp told Access the engagement between the reality-television star and the Heisman trophy winning football player are just rumors.
S.F. Mayor Engaged To Actress Jennifer Siebel: Not to outdone by pop stars, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom popped the big question to his girlfriend, actress Jennifer Siebel, over the weekend, according to a report in People. Siebel has a reoccurring role on NBC’s “Life” and was recently in the film “In the Valley of Elah.” Newsom was previously married to Kimberly Guilfoyle of Court TV and Fox News fame.
Jen Rings In New Year With ‘Sex’ Actor: Jennifer Aniston enjoyed the New Year holiday south of the border, in Los Cabos, Mexico, with best “Friend” pal, Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette. But Jen was hardly the third wheel. It appears, actor Jason Lewis, of “Sex and the City” fame, was Jen’s plus one, according to a report by OK! Magazine.
Globes Are A Go With Or Without Writers: It appears the Golden Globes will go on regardless of the writers strike. NBC confirmed the award show, which has not been issues a waiver by the WGA, will take place, as planned on Jan. 13, according to a report by E! Online. No word on who will show up to pick up their award and who will skip it and walk the strike line with the writers.
