An arrest warrant has been issued for Shia LaBeouf, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The star of “Transformers” and “Indiana Jones” was issued a ticket in Burbank, Calif., on February 18 for unlawful smoking.

LaBeouf, 21, was supposed to appear in court at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, however, neither the actor nor a lawyer showed up. As a result, a $1,000 bench warrant was issued for LaBeouf’s arrest.

LaBeouf was allegedly smoking on the sidewalk outside of a gift shop in downtown Burbank when he was cited by police.

According to the City of Burbank’s Web site, it is illegal to smoke “within 20 feet of all entrances, exits and open windows of buildings open to the public.” In addition, smoking is prohibited on “all sidewalks and pedestrian areas in Downtown Burbank and all areas within 5 feet.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for LaBeouf would not comment on the story.
