The Clark County district attorney’s office in Nevada is seeking criminal charges against hip-hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight.
A criminal complaint sent to the Las Vegas Justice Court on Monday charges Knight with two counts of felony drug possession and one count of misdemeanor battery.

Kanye West lashed out against the paparazzi on Saturday, taking to his blog to explain his arrest in London for a scuffle with a photographer after leaving a club earlier this week.
“I put my hand up to the camera in self defense!” he wrote. “I didn’t assault him but merely [put] my hand up to cover his lens. My security yelled, ‘Get the camera off him.’ I guess in all the commotion, the camera scraped his nose.”

Kanye West was arrested in the U.K. early Friday, according to reports by British media.
West was arrested at a hotel in Gateshead, England on Friday morning, after an alleged incident with a photographer outside a U.K. nightclub a few hours earlier.
Although the rapper was arrested, after a brief investigation, police said they would not charge West, according to the Press Association.

Italian con man Raffaello Follieri, who went from dating actress Anne Hathaway to serving a prison term for fraud, isn’t enjoying the “unspeakably unsanitary” conditions at a federal jail in Brooklyn.
Follieri’s lawyer sent a letter to a judge this week complaining about the facility.

Ryan O’Neal and his son have delayed entering pleas in their felony drug cases until after the new year.
The Oscar-nominated actor and his son appeared in court Thursday morning, where attorneys asked a judge for more time to review evidence.
The 67-year-old actor and his 23-year-old son were ordered to return on Jan. 9.

Michelle Williams’ father, a prominent stock market trader, agreed Tuesday to return to the United States to face tax evasion charges.
Larry Williams has been fighting extradition since he was arrested by Australian police in 2006 after flying to Sydney for a speaking tour in Australia and New Zealand. He has been free onbail.

William Balfour will remain in custody in connection to the Hudson family murders, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Illinois Prisoner Review Board ruled on Monday that there was reason to believe Balfour had, in fact, violated his parole and as a result, would be kept in custody.
Had the review board not found evidence the 27-year-old had violated his parole, he was scheduled to be released on Monday.

A jury has recommended the death penalty for Skylar Deleon, a former child actor who appeared on the popular kids’ TV series “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers,” Access Hollywood has confirmed.
Last month, Deleon, 29, was convicted of murdering three people, including a couple who were tied to an anchor and thrown off their yacht off the California coast.

Authorities say rapper Mos Def is being sought on an arrest warrant in Las Vegas after allegedly scuffling with a photographer at a fashion trade show in August.
Police say the 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dante Terrell Smith, is wanted on a warrant charging him with felony robbery and misdemeanor malicious destruction of property.
