MALIBU, Calif. --
One day before their third wedding anniversary, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner stepped out for a double date with Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso in Malibu.
The two couples dined at Nobu restaurant, chowing down on sushi rolls and cooked fish, People reported.
“Ben and Matt were entertaining the girls with stories, and they were all laughing a lot,” an onlooker told People. “Jen and Ben were in a great mood, and they left Nobu hand in hand.”
Last week, rumors surfaced that Garner and Affleck were planning to split but Garner’s rep quickly issued a statement, shooting down the reports.
On Friday, during an interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush for “The Billy Bush Show,” Affleck himself said married life was going well.
“Things are pretty great,” he said. “We’re very happy. Things couldn’t be better.”
In related news, Kate Hudson also made the Nobu scene on Saturday night, according to People. The actress’ stop came on the heels of her excursion to Santa Barbara excursion with new love Lance Armstrong.
