Celebs Design Corsets For Charity

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
It’s a sexy labor of love! Hollywood’s hottest ladies have teamed up with Frederick’s of Hollywood and Clothes Off Our Backs, to design corsets for tomorrow’s auction to raise money for Childrens’ Charities.
Jessica Biel, Christina Aguilera, Teri Hatcher and her “Desperate Housewives” co-star Eva Longoria Parker all put their own personal touches on the classic lingerie.
“You get to draw and sketch and I sketched some tulle at the top and it has all of this beading,” Eva said of her design.
A normal corset can range anywhere from $60-$100, but Erin Dominguez from Frederick’s of Hollywood said these celebrity designs command a much higher price.
“In previous years we got $18,000 for Charlize Theron’s corset and $10,000 for Nicole Kidman’s and each year we set the bar higher and hope to get more,” Dominguez told Access Hollywood.
This year, Scarlett Johansson’s corset is expected to be a big draw.
Julianne Moore is proud of her peacock inspired design, but says all of the corsets are a good buy.
“I think you should bid on any and all of them frankly,” she enthused.
The celebrity corset auction begins Thursday at Frederick’s flagship store in Hollywood. More information on the auction can be obtained at Clothes Off Our Back.
