New Bond Poster Revealed; Amy Winehouse To Sing Theme Song?

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

A new teaser poster for the upcoming James Bond film, "Quantum Of Solace," has been revealed, while Amy Winehouse is reportedly being courted to sing the new film's theme song.

With just a glimpse of the possible amped-up action to come, James Bond's shadow is seen cast on a cracked dry road clutching a machine gun.

In another instance of the Bond film franchise attempting to modernize, Grammy nominated, and often-scandalous, singer Amy Winehouse is reportedly in talks to sing the new Bond theme song, Britain's The Sun reports.

Amy is not a lock for the coveted Bond song though. There is reportedly a stipulation that Amy must remain clean until April, if she hopes to join the ranks of Madonna and Tina Turner, as a Bond songstress.

"[April is] when the Bond people make a final decision on who sings the theme. If Amy is clean then, it’s hers," a source tells the newspaper.

It appears Amy's rollercoaster lifestyle is helping her land the gig.

"It will have a dark and moody feel so Amy would be absolutely perfect," another source adds.

"Quantum Of Solace" starring Daniel Craig as 007 is scheduled to open November 7, 2008.
