LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Amy Winehouse might not be in attendance for this Sunday’s Grammys, but the embattled songstress is excited about her via satellite performance.

“I’m raring to go and really excited to be performing at my first Grammy Awards,” says Amy, “I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last couple of weeks. I’m really sorry I can’t be there but I appreciate that I'm being given a second chance via satellite,” Winehouse said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

On Thursday, it was announced the singer had been denied a Visa, which would prevent her from being at music’s biggest night, where she is not only nominated for six awards, but was also scheduled to perform.

Shortly thereafter, it was revealed Winehouse would still perform, however, the song will be a live broadcast from inside a London recording studio.

In order to prepare for the long-distance Grammy gig, Winehouse will be leaving rehab, her rep told Access.

“She is feeling great, looking healthy and looking forward to doing what she does best,” the rep said. “She will remain under full medical supervision and her treatment will continue as normal.”

Winehouse checked into a rehab facility on Jan. 24 to battle drug addiction.

She is nominated for six Grammys, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Female Performance for “Rehab,” Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Back to Black.”
