Nicole's Jazz Hands: Nicole Richie could be coming to Broadway as Roxie Hart in "Chicago," Us Weekly reports. "She's definitely interested and weighing it out with the timing of the baby," a source close to Nicole tells Us. "It is in the super early stages of discussions and no decision has been made yet." No word yet who will play Velma Kelly or Mama Morton.
Brad's Buzz: Brad's locks have gone to the clippers for his upcoming film, "Tree of Life," co-starring Sean Penn, according to photos that surfaced of the actor on the set. Brad showed off his new Forrest Gump-esque hairdo in Smithfield, Texas, Thursday. Brad appears to be really immersing himself in the local attractions of Smithfield, Us reports. He and Angelina Jolie were reportedly shopping at a local Wal-Mart.
Brady's Briefs: David Beckham may prefer Armani skivvies, but Tom Brady appears to be partial to Calvin Klein. The Patriots quarterback is in talks with Calvin Klein Inc. to become the new face of their famous undies, Page Six reports. A source says the underwear company is "confident that Brady will blow the competition out of the water." Commence with the underwear wars!
Diablo's Self-Released Nudes: It appears Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody of "Juno" fame is not to happy about her nude photos surfacing online — or at least without people giving her the credit for releasing them herself! She writes on her MySpace blog, "Hey! Did you guys hear about the 'nude' (except not really) pics I voluntarily posted on the Internet myself? What a tantalizing 'scoop!' Seriously, I thought nudity was only a scandal if it the photos were leaked by some crumb-bum rat or vengeful ex. I personally put my v** out there with pride, ladies and gents. And you bet you’re a** I'd do it again if the Beef Council would cough up the proper endorsement money. As I've said in the past, they can dress me up, they can give me awards, they can coach me on the right responses, and they can sand the calluses off my giant f****** feet, but I will always be me. And I will never be ashamed. Sincerely, Academy Award Winner Diablo Cody." Nothing like a little note from an angry naked Oscar Award-winning actress to start your day!
Indiana France?: The French could be the first to see the long-awaited fourth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise. "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" will make its debut at the Cannes Film Festival, four days before it's worldwide release, Variety reports. The studio would not comment on the report, but a source close to the film says as soon as the festival programmers see the final print, Indy will likely be on the French Rivera, bull whip and all!
