LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Following his arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence Tuesday night, Richie Sambora could also be facing child endangerment charges, Access Hollywood has learned.
As was previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Sambora’s 10-year-old daughter, Ava, and another juvenile were in the vehicle when police pulled the rocker over after spotting him allegedly “weaving” in a black Hummer.
Ava is Sambora's daughter with ex-wife, Heather Locklear. An adult woman was also in the vehicle.
The Laguna Beach police department is actively investigating the incident.
Sambora was released on his own recognizance with a promise to appear in court on May 7.
When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for the Bon Jovi guitarist had no comment on the arrest.
