NEW YORK, New York --

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis were out in support of their "Sex and The City" co-star, Cynthia Nixon, at a Point Foundation benefit in New York City on Monday night.

Access Hollywood caught up with Kim Cattrall, who said "Sex" fans should expect big changes for her character, Samantha, perhaps even a change in coasts.

Judging from the details Kim offered up to Access, it seems likely Samantha Jones will be enjoying Los Angeles life during "Sex and The City: The Movie."

"Her location is now on another coast, so there's a lot of beige and sunshine, the 'Golden-kind-of-Girl' feeling to it, which my hair and make-up team had a ball with! There's a lot of suntan lotion, a lot of sparkly stuff, which Samantha revels in," Kim said.

Kim reveled in Cynthia's moment at the Point Foundation benefit, telling Access, "I'm so, so pleased and excited to be here to support her tonight when she's being honored."

"I was lucky enough to come from a family who could afford to take me to New York or fly me to New York and study acting at a very young age. I look at a lot of children who are not so fortunate. So this organization and organizations like it, I support whole-heartedly," Kim added.

According to the organization's Web site, the Point Foundation "provides financial support, mentoring and hope to meritorious students who are marginalized due to sexual orientation or gender identity."

Sarah Jessica Parker shared Kim's passion for the Point Foundation's work telling Access, "I think it's really important that young people who feel different aren't marginalized beyond their own feelings of separation. I'm very pleased to be here."

Cynthia Nixon was honored with a Point Courage Award.

"Sex and The City: The Movie" opens on May 30.
