LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Syesha Mercado will be eliminated on “American Idol” if TiVo’s predictions are correct.

The makers of TiVo have been accurate in predicting the booted “Idols” for the last four weeks, since the competition entered its Top 12 phase, the company announced today.

In making their predictions, the folks at TiVo have analyzed second-by-second audience measurement to determine which performers had the lowest viewership. TiVo tracked the information data from 20,000 random anonymous subscribers.

As it turns out, according to TiVo, the contestants who audiences hit fast forward on the most, were the ones who ended up leaving.

In addition to predicting Syesha’s dismissal, TiVo claims baby-faced teen David Archuleta is storming his way to the top. Archuleta had the highest audience viewing numbers during his performances.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, reps for Fox and “American Idol” had no comment on the report.
