Meet The Crush Who Made Simon Cowell Blush

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
On Wednesday night’s “American Idol,” during the phone-in portion of the show, Simon Cowell found himself blushing when the girl he shared his first kiss with – Tara Miller — called up.
“I did, didn’t I?” Tara laughed of bringing rose to Simon’s cheeks. “It was pretty good.”
While Simon once had a crush on Tara, did she have one on him?
“Um, well, not exactly,” she told Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell. “But you know, I liked him. He was a good friend.”
So what was the smooch like?
“Well, it didn’t really involve that much. It was a matter of just two faces sort of smashing together and that was pretty much it,” Tara said of their age nine lip lock.
Now going by Tara McDonald-Smith, the 46-year-old is not married and living in Petaluma, California with her three kids. But though time has moved on, she still remembers Simon was smooth, way back when.
“There was a group of us and we used to play spin the bottle, so and I’d always end up kissing Simon,” Tara laughed.
Tara said Simon has aged well.
“I think he looks great now,” she said. “I think he looks very attractive, very nice.”
“So would you kiss Simon Cowell today?” Nancy asked.
“I don’t know ‘cause he has a girlfriend,” Tara replied.
“If he didn’t have a girlfriend, would you kiss him?” Nancy continued.
“Umm… sure, why not,” Tara laughed.
