LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Reality starlet Audrina Patridge is trading in her “Hills” home for a shot at the big screen.

Patridge has landed a role in the upcoming film “Into The Blue 2,” a sequel to the Jessica Alba-Paul Walker 2005 action film, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows a married couple who are hired to go searching for Columbus’ hidden treasure in the deep blue sea.

Much to their dismay, the couple soon learns their wealthy employers have a much more terrifying agenda at hand.

Patridge will play a no-nonsense beach beauty who has her boyfriend wrapped around her finger.

In landing the role, Patridge becomes the first star of “The Hills” to land a feature film acting role. Fellow “Hills” gal Lauren Conrad had a cameo in the 2007 laugher “Epic Movie,” but she played herself.

Last week, MTV announced it had picked up the hit reality series for an upcoming fourth season. The finale to the third season airs Monday night.

No word if the craft services table on the “Into the Blue 2” set will need to prepare to cater to Patridge’s “Hills” beau Justin Bobby.
