‘2 Broke Girls’ Not Ready For A ‘Sex And The City’ Cast Member Cameo

“2 Broke Girls” won’t be crossing the paths of Max Black and Carrie Bradshaw any time soon.

“The world of Sarah Jessica Parker and those girls, and Max Black and Caroline Channing are so completely different, that I can’t imagine [that happening],” show creator Michael Patrick King said in response to a question from AccessHollywood.com at the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Pasadena on Wednesday.

MPK — who produced the “SATC” TV series and wrote and directed both movies — did note that they have had discussions about possible guest stars.

“We think a lot about the best use of the characters that can come into Max and Caroline’s life, so we don’t know, we talk occasionally,” he said of the idea of bringing over some of his “SATC” cast.

“We’re still building stories, so we have no idea,” he added.

MPK said he isn’t opposed to having one of the “SATC” cast – main or supporting – come on “2 Broke Girls,” if it fits.

“Any actor that I can get to come on the show who’s right for a character would be great,” he said.

Beyond working on “2 Broke Girls,” MPK revealed he has a new movie script in the works with three major female stars.

“I’m working on a movie right now for Meryl Streep and Oprah Winfrey and Sandy Bullock, which I’m finishing the script on,” he added.

“2 Broke Girls” airs Monday nights at 8:30/7:30 c on CBS.
