‘90210’: Is Brenda Crashing At Kelly’s?

Are Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor about to get up close and personal?

With the on-set drama of the original “Beverly Hills, 90210” long behind them, E! reported that Shannen Doherty and Jenny Garth’s characters on the new “90210” will be sharing some serious screen time.

“Jennie and Shannen will have many, many scenes together,” an insider told E!

According to E!, the pair will even briefly live together as Brenda crashes at Kelly’s place while returning to Beverly Hills to direct the high school musical.

However, a source revealed to Access Hollywood that the living arrangement rumors aren’t true.

Nevertheless, the pair has already started filming some of their scenes together, and it’s so far, so good for the reunited stars.

“It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be,” Jennie told TV Guide. “I’m not much of a small talker, and I don’t think she is either. I was a little nervous because I hadn’t seen or talked to her in 14 years. Everyone was making it out to be such a big deal that I think we both fell prey to having that affect us.”

Ryan Eggold, who plays Ryan Matthews, Kelly’s new boyfriend, called their first scene together “interesting.”

“Everybody was on pins and needles and sort of waiting to see how they’d react,” he told the mag. “They started off kind of tentative, but by the time we were five takes in, they were giggling and seemed to be reconnecting.”

“I think it will be OK,” Jennie said. “We’re both grown women, both professionals. Once we were working, it felt like a good fit.”

But the show has one missing piece after The CW backpedaled on Tori Spelling’s announced return as Donna Martin.

“The CW has no deal with Tori Spelling to appear on ‘90210’ at this time,” a rep for The CW told Access , following an earlier announcement that she would be back as a trendy clothing store owner.

“I know that Shannen probably doesn’t share the feelings that I have for Tori, but I love Tori like my sister,” Jennie told TV Guide, hoping that fans will start a “Bring Back Donna Martin” campaign.

The mag reported that ‘90210’ writers may have replaced Donna’s reported storyline with a new character.
