A Look Back At ‘Saturday Night Live’s’ Freshman Hosts Of The Season

“Saturday Night Live” closes out it’s 2010-2011 season this weekend with the return of Justin Timberlake, who is back to host the long-running NBC show for the fourth time, alongside musical guest, Lady Gaga, returning for her third visit.

Justin is an old pro when it comes to hosting the sketch comedy show and his work on the program has already netted the triple-threat two Emmys – one for hosting and the other for his “D*** In A Box” video, with cast member Andy Samberg.

While Justin racks up another point in his hosting box (look out, Alec Baldwin), a look back over the season reveals a number of big name stars hit the stage, hosting for the very first time.

Among those to grace the show’s hallowed halls for its 36th season — for the very first time as a host — were “Glee’s” Jane Lynch, “The Social Network’s” Jesse Eisenberg, Oscar winner Helen Mirren, pop singer Miley Cyrus, Brit actor/comedian Russell Brand and big screen beauty Emma Stone.

AccessHollywood.com took a look back at these fresh faces who shared their excitement earlier in the season over getting the hosting gig. But which skit did Miley reveal she really wanted to take part in and which character did Helen rule out playing? Plus, what did Jesse really think of musical guest Nicki Minaj’s famous bottom in his sketch with the hip-hop princess, and how did Russell injure himself on the set?
