Access Hollywood Live: Mark Addison’s Easter Treat Recipes

Celebrity entertaining expert Mark Addison, who works with Kelly Ripa and Drew Barrymore, hopped over to Access Hollywood Live on Thursday to show Kit Hoover & Billy Bush how to make an Easter Brunch fit for a star.

Mark served up Bloody Marys and creative egg bars (or quiche). Each of these recipes allow the host’s guests to personalize their drinks and eats by serving a variety of toppings alongside.

Here are some of Mark’s favorite recipes:

Mark Addison’s Classic Bloody Mary

Ingredients
2 oz premium vodka
4 oz tomato juice (or Bloody Mary mix)
1 tsp Horseradish paste
5 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Tabasco hot sauce
Fresh cracked pepper
A dash of sea salt
1 fresh lime wedge

Spice Rim mixture (equal amounts): salt, garlic powder, black pepper, dill seed, coriander, red pepper, dried parsley, and paprika

Directions:
-Prepare your glass by coating with lime juice and coat into Spice Rim mixture.
-Set aside. In cocktail shaker, add ingredients. Stir mixture (never shake tomato juice) and pour over ice into the rimmed glass. -Garnish with a skewer of olives, onions, peppers, and finish with a lime wedge.

Mark Addison’s Egg Bars

Ingredients
12 eggs
2 cups half-and-half
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 cup shallots (optional)
1 unbaked prepared pie crust
9 x 12 inch cake pan

Suggested Toppings:
Cheese, sour cream, chopped scallions, salsa, black olives, hot sauce, shrimp, asparagus, salmon roe, sauteed mushrooms, fresh chopped dill, bacon bits, and chopped tomatoes.

Directions:
-Preheat oven to 450degrees. Place prepared pie crust in baking dish.
-In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and half-and-half until frothy. Mix in shallots. Season. Pour egg mixture over crust. Bake in pre-heated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350degrees, and bake for 25 minutes, or until crust is golden and filling is set. -Allow to set 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
-Cut into 2 x 4 inch bars trimming off the edge of the crusts. Top with your favorite toppings
