Access Hollywood Live: Oscar de la Hoya’s Cinco de Mayo Margarita Recipes

Boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya — who is also a brand ambassador for Tres Generaciones tequila — stopped by the set of Access Hollywood Live to help Billy Bush & Kit Hoover get into the Cinco de Mayo spirit with two yummy margarita recipes!

Legacy Margarita

Ingredients:
1 1/2 part of Tres Generaciones Plata Tequila
1/2 part John DeKuyper & Son’s 03 Orange Liqueur
1/2 part Sauza Organic Agave Nectar
1 part juice of a fresh lime
1 part juice of a fresh lemon
1 part juice of a fresh tangerine (or Mandarin Orange or Clementine or any ripe orange, depending on season – the smaller the orange the better the flavor.)

Instructions:
In a Boston Shaker glass, start with the non-alcohol liquids: juices and Agave Nectar. Add Ice. Pour Tres Generaciones over ice along with the O3 Orange Liqueur. Shake vigorously to ensure that agave nectar is well integrated into the drink. Strain into a Margarita glass or tumbler lined with a “Three Ingredient Rim” – Salt, Sugar and Spice (Salty, sweet and spicy.)

When fruit is in season, reduce the orange juice to 1 part and use 4 wedges of fresh tangerines or similar orange to provide the balance. If you decide to muddle, ensure you double strain the liquid as you pour into the serving glass.
