LOS ANGELES (April 16, 2007) – While Willa Ford has landed the role of the big screen Anna Nicole Smith, if Access Hollywood viewers have anything to say about it, comedian Jay Mohr will play Larry Birkhead.
In an AccessHollywood.com poll conducted last week, when viewers were asked “Who should play Larry Birkhead in a move of Anna Nicole’s life?,” Mohr ran away with the results, earning 59% of the votes.
Owen Wilson finished second with 28 percent, with Lance Bass coming in third (9 percent) and Frankie Muniz finishing fourth with 5 percent of the vote.
Mohr, the former host of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” joked with Los Angeles radio station KROQ earlier this month, he’d be a good fit for the role due to his physical resemblance to Birkhead.
