Adam Lambert Reveals Release Date For Second Album, ‘Trespassing’

Adam Lambert is getting ready to do some “Trespassing” on the music world.

On Thursday, it was announced that the 2009 “American Idol” runner-up will release his second album, “Trespassing,” on March 20, 2012, a record inspired by his life.

“It’s been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I’ve experienced,” Adam said in a statement. “All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality.”

The first single from the sophomore LP, “Better Than I Know Myself,” will drop December 20 on iTunes and other digital services.

Adam collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rogers, Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa, Bonnie McKee, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco and BC Jean on the writing and production of many of the album’s tracks.
