Well, this should give Blake Shelton plenty of new joke material for the next round of “The Voice” – his best pal and co-coach, Adam Levine, has taken on an eye-catching new ‘do.
The 35-year-old Maroon 5 frontman has bleached his dark hair platinum blond.
The singer shared a photo of his light new look on Twitter on Saturday, along with the caption, “Apocalypse prep course complete.”

Adam’s fiancee, model Behati Prinsloo, posed alongside him in the photo, and she appears to have darkened her hair.
Apparently, the response to Adam’s new ‘do wasn’t entirely positive, but the singer took negative Twitter feedback in stride.
“I hope people understand that when they say my hair looks creepy i take that as the highest compliment,” he Tweeted Sunday.

According to Adam’s stylist, Shaul Arbiv, the bleached blond locks are not for a role, but simply because the “Voice” coach wanted a change.
“With summer months coming up we wanted to do something totally drastic and different from his previous styles so we bleached it,” Shaul told People. “I have been working with Adam for a long time and he likes to change up his style often.”
