Adele Focusing On Lullabies For Son; Singer Is ‘Not Very Far Along’ On New Album

Adele walked away with another Grammy Award on Sunday, but the new mom has lately been singing songs mainly for an audience of one.

“I’ve been up since 6 AM, so I’m quite tired, but it’s nice. I haven’t been as stressed out,” the 24-year-old, who won the Best Solo Pop performance award for “Set Fire to the Rain [Live],” told reporters backstage at the Grammys of her new life as a mom.

Adele, who has a 4-month-old son (whose name has not been revealed) with boyfriend Simon Konecki, explained her priorities have shifted.

“You have to prioritize what you stress about and worry about when you have a child. Getting my hair and makeup is usually a blast. I’m like, ‘Get off! Get off!’” the singer, who wore a red floral print Valentino dress, said of getting glammed up for the Grammys.

Despite her new duties as a mother – along with prepping for a performance at the Oscars – the singer did reveal that she is working on a follow-up to her smash album, “21.”

”[I’m] not very far along,” she told reporters. “I’m having lots of meetings. I’ve been in LA the whole time since the Globes and I will be until the Oscars. I’ve been having lots of meetings and I’ve been out of the loop really. I’ve sort of … I’ve been singing my baby nursery rhymes, so I don’t know what’s cool and what’s not!”
