A&E Pulls David Hasselhoff’s ‘The Hasslehoffs’ After 2 Episodes

David Hasselhoff is big in Germany, but not so much stateside.

After only airing two episodes of “The Hasselhoffs,” A&E has pulled the new reality series, a rep for the cable network confirmed to Access Hollywood.

According to New York Magazine’s Vulture blog, (who first reported the news), the reality series about the actor and his two daughters, Taylor-Ann and Hayley, was a victim of low ratings. The premiere pulled in 718,000 viewers and the second episode only had 505,000 pairs of eyes tuning in. By contrast, NY Mag pointed out that A&E’s “Storgae Wars” – a reality series about people bidding on abandoned storage units – had an impressive 2 million viewers for its premiere.

The future of the remaining eight episodes of “The Hasselhoffs,” which were already filmed, is reportedly up in the air.

A rep for the former “Baywatch” star would not comment when contacted by Access.
