Alec Baldwin Not Looking To Snag A ‘Housewife’ – Not Even Bethenny Frankel!

Alec Baldwin is not “Housewife” hunting – not even if she’s a reality star, celebrity chef and best-selling author!

Following a report by The New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher on Monday claiming the “30 Rock” star was quite interested in “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel during the Grand Slam Tennis Exhibition in East Hampton, New York on Sunday, the actor set the rumored romance record straight.

“My friend, Jessica Ambrose, and her daughter, Lyman, are big fans of her show and wanted to meet Bethenny, so I asked for them to be introduced to her,” Alec told The New York Post’s Page Six. “I don’t know her and wasn’t looking to meet her, but somehow this ends up in the Daily News – manufacturing a nice gesture into a total BS item suggesting I want to date this woman. Nothing against her, but I’m not dating anyone.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for the actor said he “absolutely” stands by his comments to the Page Six regarding The Daily News’ report.

Access caught up with the Bravo starlet on Monday who revealed she’s had run-ins with Alec before.

“Alec Baldwin, who I love, I really do…he’s so funny and I think he’s smart. He and I were at an event a couple months ago and this was before I was really serious in my relationship and he was kind of giving me a little bit of the eye,” Bethenny told Access. “It was completely flattering and I thought I was imagining it, but sort of knew that I wasn’t.

Though Bethenny claims Alec gave her the eye, she admits it was all very innocent.

“We had just a very brief conversation and then I saw him at my book signing,” She continued. “It’s probably just a very exaggerated brief cute moment. It’s very flattering.”

But if Bethenny’s current guy doesn’t step up to the proposal plate soon, she might entertain the idea of getting to know Alec a little better.

“Look, [if] my boyfriend Jason doesn’t put a ring on it, who knows… Bethenny Baldwin!” She joked.

But then again, maybe not.

“It sounds like a stripper name!” she added.
