Alex Morgan Dishes On All-Night Olympic Partying

After winning gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, soccer player Alex Morgan partied until the wee hours of the morning – so late in fact, that her family ended up falling asleep on London’s tube!

The 23-year-old gold medal winner stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, where she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about her wild night in London with her teammates and family.

”[We celebrated] all night and all morning,” Alex said. “I think I got back to the village at 6:30 [AM].”

Her family, who joined Alex in London, stayed up ever later!

“They were on the Tube, taking the train [after dropping me off at the Olympic Village,] and they fell asleep on the Tube,” she recounted. “[They woke up] at the end of the line and couldn’t even get back to their [hotel] until 10 AM… my dad missed his flight the next morning.”

Beside Alex and her family, who else knows how to enjoy themselves on the U.S. Women’s Soccer team?

“I can’t throw anyone under the bus,” Alex said, but then added, “Abby [Wambach] likes to drink, when she’s [in the] off-season.”
