Alex O’Loughlin’s ‘Moonlight’ To Air After ‘Vampire Diaries’

Alex O’Loughlin’s vampire drama “Moonlight” is heading back to the small screen.

The CW announced on Thursday that they will air the canceled 2007 CBS drama on Thursday nights, beginning on June 3.

“Moonlight” will air at 9 PM ET/PT, following encore episodes of The CW’s hit series, “The Vampire Diaries.”

For those that didn’t catch “Moonlight” during its original run on CBS (it followed Jennifer Love Hewitt’s “Ghost Whisperer”), the series follows Mick, a vampire living in Los Angeles, who works as a private investigator.

Mick’s skills in the series are put to use by Beth (Sophia Myles), a television journalist, who he just happened to have been protecting since she was a little girl.

Mick also runs into trouble with Coraline (Shannyn Sossamon), his ex-wife, who turned him into a blood-sucker six decades ago when he was just 30.
