Ali Fedotowsky Talks Wedding Plans, Romantic Roberto & Her Thoughts On ‘Crazy’ Jake Pavelka

Ali Fedotowsky may have found the love of her life on national TV, but she’s still not sure if she wants to say “I do” in front of an audience of millions.

“At the very beginning, I was like, ‘Why not? I’m totally going to do it!’” Ali told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Thursday’s Access Hollywood Live, when asked if she’d be having a TV wedding with her “Bachelorette” beau, Roberto Martinez.

“But now I’ve realized since I said that, that it’s been like, ‘Wedding! Wedding! Wedding!’ and it’s like, if everyone would stop asking about the wedding, maybe I’d have to time to plan the wedding,” she added. “I don’t know. It’s a hard decision. We just want to make the right one.”

Of course, one of the biggest factors for anyone planning a wedding is the cost – one that’s not lost on Ali and Roberto – or Kit Hoover.

“You’ve gotta have the big ol’ wedding! Take the money – let them pay for it!” Kit implored. “You’re a smart girl, let them do this for you and bank the money – that’s your house, that’s your future.”

However, Ali revealed they might be able to have their dream wedding without shelling out too much money or having it on TV.

“I think a lot of people who followed our story are willing to sort of help us with the wedding,” Ali revealed. “So I think I would be able to get all of that and not necessarily have to do it on TV.”

“What do you mean? Donations from viewers?” Billy asked.

“Yeah. Friends, viewers, fans. They’ve been so wonderful. I’ve gotten so many offers to [help] – ‘Can we do your invitations? Can we do this? Can we do that?’ So I feel like I can sort of get it all done and still keep it private,” she explained. “We don’t know. There’s a good possibility we will [have it on TV], there’s a good possibility we won’t.”

But there is one thing Ali has already made up her mind about – changing her last name.

“Are you dropping the Fedotowsky?” Billy asked.

“Are you kidding me?!?” Ali laughed. “I’ve been waiting my whole life to drop the Fedotowsky.”

Whether their nuptials happen in front of the cameras or not, it’s sure to be a romantic affair, as Ali said that’s one department where Roberto excels.

“He’s so romantic, it’s insane!” she beamed. “I’m like, ‘How do you exist? We need to clone you so other women can have men like you.”

Things could’ve been very different for Ali, however, had her first venture into finding love on reality TV gone a bit differently.

“Are you so glad that you didn’t get with Jake [Pavelka]?” Kit asked Ali, referring to her time on “The Bachelor,” when Ali left the show mid-season for her career. “Thank goodness you let that loony bird go. He’s a can full of crazy! Thank goodness you chose work over Jake!”

“I think Jake is a nice guy,” Ali grinned after a brief pause. “I just think when you’re in a bad relationship, sometimes you do things you wouldn’t normally do. I think he lost his temper at one point, but I do think he’s a good guy.”
