Ali Landry’s Father-In-Law & Brother-In-Law Found Dead After Kidnapping

Devastating news for Ali Landry and husband Alejandro Gomez Monteverde.

According to the Latin Times and People, the father-in-law and brother-in-law of the former Miss USA were found dead in Veracruz, Mexico, approximately two weeks after they were kidnapped from their home in Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Juan Manuel Gomez Fernendez and his son, Juan Manuel Gomez Monteverde, were reportedly found dead in El Chachalaco, both with traumatic brain and head injuries.

Fernendez and Monteverde were reportedly kidnapped on September 4.

According to Televisa news anchor Carlos Loret de Mola, a ransom was paid for Fernendez and Monteverde, but their kidnappers did not release the father and brother of Landry’s filmmaker husband.

Us Weekly reported that Landry and her husband scattered the ashes of his late father and brother in the waters off the coast of Tampico, Mexico, on Wednesday.

A mass for Fernendez and Monteverde will reportedly take place on Friday.
