Amanda Peet Gives Birth To Baby Girl

LOS ANGELES (February 23, 2007) — Amanda Peet has given birth to a baby girl, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” star and her screenwriter husband, David Benioff, welcomed Frances Pen into the world this week, after Peet went into labor on Tuesday.

The baby, weighing in at 6 lbs., 10 oz., is named after Peet’s mother Penny. US Weekly first reported the news.

Peet, 35, and Benioff, 36, tied the knot in September. This is the first child for both.

Peet’s film credits include “Syriana,” “The Whole Nine Yards,” “A Lot Like Love,” and “Something’s Gotta Give.”
