Amber Rose Cries During SlutWalk Speech; Forgives Kanye West & Wiz Khalifa

Amber Rose got emotional while giving a speech at her SlutWalk event in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 31-year-old lingerie-clad beauty – who organized the walk in hopes of ending slut-shaming and victim-blaming – admitted to the large crowd that she was very hurt when her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa, described her as a “stripper” in one of his post-split songs.

“He went on to make a song saying he ‘fell in love with a stripper,’ but ‘fell out of love quicker.’ As you can imagine, him being the love of my life regardless if we’re going through a separation of not, that was extremely hurtful,” she explained, covering her mouth her hand as she began to cry.

It took a minute, a tissue and kiss from her mom Dorothy, and the crowd chanting her name in support before Amber was able to continue speaking.

“He came out with that song it and really hurt me because all I ever did was love him,” she said, wiping her eyes with the tissue. “I just loved him so much and gave him a beautiful son. And to be told that I was nothing but a stripper –it hurt.”

Amber also said she’s ready to move past mean comments ex-boyfriend Kanye West made during a radio interview earlier this year, where he said he had to take “30 showers” after dating Amber in order to “get with” now-wife Kim Kardashian.

“I wanna forgive Kanye for what he said about me. I wanna let all of that negativity go,” she said. “I also forgive Wiz. Wiz actually apologized to me already, so I have forgiven him.

“I suggest that you guys do the same,” she continued, as the crowd cheered her on. “They’re ignorant at times. People are ignorant and you have to be the bigger person and be the positive person to forgive and move on and help other people around you that have been through the same thing.”

Amber’s mom wore a shirt which read, “Just because I’m a sexual being doesn’t mean I want to have sex with YOU” for the walk, and had a few pointed words for Kanye. She proudly carried a sign which read, “F**k yo 30 showers!”

Amber – who revealed she was 14 and still a virgin when she was first slut-shamed – shared photos from the event on her Instagram page, including a supporter who carried a sign stating, “Don’t tell me how to dress – tell them not to rape!”

Amber has long been a supporter of gender equality (especially when it comes to sexuality) and released a hilarious, sex-positive “Funny or Die” clip, “Walk of No Shame,” last month starring herself and “How to Get Away with Murder” star/outspoken feminist Matt McGorry.

Additionally, Amber and best friend Blac Chyna wore outfits printed with slurs like “slut,” “whore” and “gold digger” at the 2015 MTV VMAs in September in hopes of raising gender inequality awareness.
