“American Idol’s” Season 11 finalists are about to head back for their hometown visits, but one contender in the Final 4 on Thursday was given a different type of ticket home, when they were eliminated from the show.

(SPOILER: This story contains the results of “American Idol.”)

Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips were revealed as the Final 3 on Thursday night, and therefore 18-year-old Hollie Cavanagh was sent home.

The youngster, who was born in Liverpool, but grew up in McKinney, Texas, didn’t say any words when she learned she was out of the running for the top prize. Instead, she got to watch the clip package of her “Idol” journey.

But she made her comments another way.

While singing the Miley Cyrus hit, “The Climb,” the confident singer hugged her “Idol” friends, before walking to the front of the stage, where she shook hands with the judges.

Hollie’s wasn’t the only performance of the night.

Former “Idol” David Cook came back and sang, “The Last Song I’ll Ever Write For You,” while Jennifer Lopez too, took the stage, singing her single, “Dance Again.”

At the end of her number, which saw her trading dance moves with boyfriend Casper Smart, her beau picked flecks of confetti out of her hair, leaving the singer smiling.

“He’s so cute,” she told the audience.

“American Idol” returns Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
